Private-pay home care for veterans

Dependable care at home—with respect for your service.

Harmony Home Services helps veterans and surviving spouses arrange flexible, private-pay, non-medical care. If you receive a VA pension or Survivors Pension, Aid & Attendance may provide an added monthly benefit that can help with care costs.

Explore an added VA pension benefit

Aid & Attendance

Some veterans and survivors who receive a qualifying VA pension and need help with daily activities may be eligible for an added monthly Aid & Attendance payment.

  • The VA decides eligibility and payment amounts
  • Approval is separate from arranging care with Harmony
  • The added benefit may help offset private-pay care costs
Review official VA eligibility →

Important: Aid & Attendance is a VA pension benefit paid to an eligible veteran or survivor. It is not direct VA authorization of Harmony Home Services, and Harmony cannot determine eligibility, guarantee approval, or promise VA payment. Private-pay clients remain responsible for their care agreement and charges.

What about VA-funded home care?

VA Homemaker and Home Health Aide services are a separate benefit for eligible veterans, with assessed need, availability, and VA authorization. Those services are delivered through organizations that have a VA contract. Harmony’s private-pay services and this information do not establish VA network participation.

Ask your VA care team or social worker about available programs and authorized providers. Confirm provider participation before expecting VA payment.
