The Senior Caregiver provides hands-on, non-medical support while setting the tone for dependable, person-centered service. This is a trusted role for someone who can follow a plan, communicate clearly, and help clients preserve comfort, confidence, and independence at home.

What you’ll do

  • Provide respectful, non-medical personal care and support with daily routines.
  • Offer companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and household support.
  • Follow each client’s individualized care plan and document visits accurately.
  • Notice changes, safety concerns, or unmet needs and communicate them promptly.
  • Model calm, dependable care and help newer caregivers uphold Harmony standards.
  • Support pets and household routines when included in the approved care plan.

What you’ll bring

  • At least two years of professional or substantial family caregiving experience preferred.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance when driving is required.
  • A working smartphone and comfort completing simple electronic visit notes.
  • CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it within the required timeframe.
  • Dependability, sound judgment, respectful communication, and commitment to client choice and dignity.
  • Ability to complete all required Missouri employment and caregiver background screening steps.

Missouri screening

Safety comes before placement.

Applicants selected to continue must complete the screenings and eligibility checks applicable to Missouri in-home services employment.

FCSR registration

The applicant must be registered with Missouri’s Family Care Safety Registry before an employer screening can be processed.

Required registry checks

Harmony may review criminal history and applicable DHSS, DSS, and Department of Mental Health disqualification or abuse-and-neglect records.

Legal name, date of birth, Social Security number, and any required identity documents are collected only during the secure screening step—not through this emailed application.
