The Harmony difference

People.
Pets.
Home.

One thoughtful care plan.

How we set Harmony apart

We take pet care seriously because the relationship is serious.

For many older adults, veterans, people with disabilities, and family caregivers, a pet is a constant companion and an important source of emotional well-being. When everyday pet tasks become difficult, the stress affects the entire household.

Our goal is to help preserve that bond through dependable routines, careful handling, and clear communication with the family.

Routine care with purpose

Support for comfort, hygiene, enrichment, and long-term well-being.

Each plan is based on the pet’s needs, temperament, normal routine, and what can be performed safely.

01

Feeding & hydration

Following the household’s instructions for meals, fresh water, treats, and familiar routines.

02

Walks, play & movement

Age-appropriate walks, playtime, and gentle activity that support comfort, enrichment, and connection.

03

Brushing & coat care

Routine brushing and light coat care to help pets stay comfortable, clean, and free of avoidable tangles.

04

Nail trims

Careful nail trimming when it is part of the plan and the pet can be handled safely and comfortably.

05

Teeth brushing

Patient brushing with owner-approved, pet-safe supplies to support a consistent oral-care routine.

06

Clean spaces & supplies

Litter-box care, pet-area tidying, supply checks, and timely reminders when food or essentials are running low.

Consistency matters

Small routines can make a meaningful difference.

Regular movement, hydration, grooming, oral-care routines, clean living areas, and early communication about changes can support a pet’s comfort and quality of life over time.

Our pet-care promise

Gentle care. Clear boundaries. Real accountability.

Follow the plan

We use the pet’s normal routines, approved supplies, and household instructions.

Never force care

If a pet shows fear, pain, or distress, we pause and communicate instead of pushing through.

Notice and report

Changes in appetite, movement, behavior, or appearance are shared promptly with the family.

Respect the bond

We understand that a pet may be a person’s closest companion and a vital part of daily life.

Important: Harmony provides routine, non-veterinary pet support. We do not diagnose illness, provide medical treatment, perform emergency care, or replace a veterinarian or professional groomer. Services depend on the pet’s temperament, safety, caregiver training, and the agreed care plan.

Common questions

What families should know

Is pet care included automatically?+

Pet support is discussed during care planning and included only when it is agreed upon. The plan identifies the specific tasks, routine, supplies, and safety considerations.

Will Harmony trim nails and brush teeth?+

These tasks may be included when the caregiver is trained, the owner provides approved pet-safe supplies, and the pet can be handled without fear, pain, or unsafe behavior.

What if my pet seems sick or injured?+

We will notify the family according to the care plan. Veterinary questions, treatment, and emergencies must be handled by a licensed veterinarian or emergency animal hospital.

Do you care for pets other than dogs and cats?+

Possibly. We review other household pets individually based on their needs, caregiver training, and whether routine care can be provided safely.
